I bought a print of ‘Butty Bear’ by Lisa Jones for my boyfriend last Christmas (http://www.lisajonesstudio.com/pages/butty_bear.html). It’s framed in our lounge and is always acknowledged when family and friends come over as he is so adorable and funny. I was making syrup pancakes this morning and I had a few burnt bits which looked like eyes and a nose… before I knew it I had a pancake version of Butty Bear on my plate. It’s the simple things in life that make me smile.
